TWERK IT Fitness was created by Cassandra Wycko of TML...Turn Me Loose Fitness Owner and Creator when women who were participating in classes at TML kept inquiring on how to isolate, bounce & clap their bottoms. Having her NASM & ACE background in fitness as well as shedding over 85 pounds herself Cassandra wanted to take the “stereotypical faux pas” that intimidated TML clients & create a fun, easy to follow group fitness class. She wanted Twerk It to incorporate simple dance & classic group fitness elements with current, sassy booty work.

There are over 600 muscles in the human body. At a time of Cassandra’s "biggest" points with her weight a trainer filled her in on a little industry secret that most women may not realize… the more muscle you have, the more fat/calories you burn consistently throughout the day. Needless to say he went on,
“We will be working your butt because you have a lot of fat to lose & your butt is your biggest muscle so let’s build it!"
Your Tushy, better known as The Gluteus Maximus is in fact the most massive muscle of the human body. It is a group of three muscles located at the back of each hip, buttock (butt cheek). The Gluteus Maximus is the largest and most superficial muscle of the group which contributes most of the mass that can be seen as your booty. The Gluteus Maximus must be large because of its roles in hip extension, lateral rotation, as well as in keeping the body in an erect position.

IT GROUP FITNESS CLASSES-
The TWERK IT Fitness Program at TML was put
together based on ACE & AFFA Group
Fitness Guidelines among ALL TML staff members making it a fitness class that
has a “calculated design” so it is much more than a complete choreographed
dance or booty clapping class. TML offers Three Twerk it Classes; Sexy
Twerk/Twerk Skillz which is a breakdown of safe twerk technique, a class with
slower choreography. Twerk it! Is a faster paced choreographed dance class that
burns close to 1000 calories in an hour, and last Glute Camp which is literally
BOOT camp for the tush, working your larger lower body muscles as well as core.
TML’s main goal with the Twerk it program is to incinerate fat bringing
participants up to their target heart rate zone using classic group fitness
elements, while teaching body awareness by utilizing ultimate muscle control
through “engaging, isolating, relaxing the larger muscles of the body all
composed together during a fun dance inspired group fitness class. “TWERK IT”
is TML ORIGINAL Group Fitness Program
